BulletProof Hitches are manufactured to a very tight tolerance of +/- .010 of an inch. Unfortunately, hitch receivers cannot always live up to these standards. Tolerances can vary as much as .100 of an inch and could cause some unwanted movement or rattle in the hitch
To solve this, we have developed the 2.5" BulletProof Anti-Rattle Clamp. It allows you to tighten the hitch to the receiver and eliminate all movement. Our Anti-Rattle clamp is made from 1/2" thick pressed break steel and features our signature black, textured powder coat
Installation is simple - just slide the hitch through the clamp, insert the hitch into the receiver, tighten the bolt and then tighten the jam nut with a wrench to eliminate movement inside the receiver

This shackle features four different pin holes that allow the user to set the shackle in the direction they need to
The design allows it to be of use in both horizontal and vertical orientations that can be useful in extended or recessed positions. For vehicles with stock bumpers, this allows more of the shank to fit in the receiver opening
For vehicles with aftermarket bumpers, where the shackle must protrude from the receiver to physically work with your bumper, the additional pin hole towards the end of the shank gives you another 1-1/2" of extension

After modifying your vehicle's suspension and/or adding larger tires, you may need a hitch with a longer drop
This accessory is compatible with all BulletProof Hitches and MOST weight distribution systems
The adapter is 2" wide and the holes are 3/4" in diameter and spaced 1-1/4" on center
Rated to 6,500 pounds trailer weight when used with our Medium Duty Hitch
Rated to 22,000 pounds trailer weight when used with our Heavy Duty Hitch
Rated to 36,000 pounds trailer weight when used with our Extreme Duty Hitch
Note: One BulletProof Locking Pin is compatible with the Heavy Duty Weight Distribution Adapter
